March 1st - a national holiday in Wales celebrating patron saint, david.
Traditional festivities include wearing daffodils and leeks, recognised symbols of Wales and Saint David respectively, eating traditional Welsh food including cawl and Welsh rarebit, and women wearing traditional Welsh dress. An increasing number of cities and towns across Wales including Cardiff, Swansea and Aberystwyth also put on parades throughout the day.
court robert arts wanted to add to the festivities too, by holding a st. David's day themed giveaway. we offered people to be in with a chance of winning a steel cut-out welsh dragon. we saw over 100 people enter over on our facebook page, but our winner was... cheryl davies. congratulations!
we'll be hosting more giveaways in the future, so make sure you like our facebook page to know when they're happening!

christine is currently working on almost a dozen new sculptures ready for the 2019 sculpture show season and has recently launched her miniature collection!
'I started my career for Disney making miniature toy pieces. I've always loved working on miniature scale and in recent years I have developed a range of animals sculptures on a larger scale and felt I'd like to go back to making miniatures because I enjoyed it.
I love the fact you can pick them up and handle them and explore their little characters'.- Christine Baxter, on her miniature collection.' -Christine Baxter, on her recent launch.
